AVhile unconfirmed, private advices m-serlin,g that a thousand or more persons wire killed over Sunday in the Salvador uprising, have been received here. The American Legation reported to Washington tljal a number of prominent persons were assassinated in the interior,, although tlie capital was not attacked and President Martinez stated he has “the situation completely dominated."
