MONDAY, 2-1. Miss Glartys "Watkins (piano) and Mrs. Nancie Holloway (violin), who will prescue their third programme of “Classical Dances” at, 2YA this evening, are two always welcome performers. They will play dances by Handel, Chopin, Grieg, Bantock and others. Tho Ariel Singers, who always delight, listeners’with their tuneful programmes, - will sing quartettes, a duet and solo numbers. The Orchestrina will also contribute to the programme. Speaking -under the auspices of the W.E.A. at 3YA, Dr. C. E. Beeby will take as his subject '. “All Mon are Liars.’’ 1 A programme by the Salvation Army Band; under Mr. N.-G. Goffin, will bo- broadcast by. 3YA. , Three popular eingerS will assist—Miss Nellie Lowe (contralto), Mr. J- 'Haydn "Williams (tenor) and Sidney Russ (baritone). Instrumental numbers will ho contributed' by the Christchurch Broadcasting Trio.
