MR, LEMON, OF ORANGE
Every once in a while iliere emerges from the ordinary run of talking picture comedies something special that commands tho attention of all lovers of real good fun. Such a film will hare its second screening today at the Majestic, where, the famous Swedish comedian, El Bren del, and that cute French comedienne, Fifi D’Orsny, will appear in the. Fox farce, “Mr. Lemon of Orange." The fact that two such clever and original mirth-masers are starred id one feature, should be suite, rent guarantee i hat patron- wR see and hear something very much -out of tho usual in the way of hilarious entertainment. Brendel, who holds tlie reputation of being the screen’s most irrisis-tiiblo - humorist., will be remembered for Ids'antics in "Just. Imagine” but he. is. Said to excel himself in his latest .role, as “Mr. Lemon.” the innocent soul .who finds himself in tho predicament of being mistaken for the most terrible gangster in the underworld ...-while tho, vivacious Fifi revels in her part as Julie La Rue, the cabaret miss whose solo-.'ambition in life is to: end the earthly career of the villain whom she thinks Brendel to be,' The efforts of poor Lemon to understand what all the fuss as about are only equalled by the attempts of Julie to lure tho innocent into a position from which thero will be no return. The whole action of the plot is fast and uproarious. Anart from the fact that El Brendel and Fifi D’Orsny nro co-starred for the first time in “Mr Lemon of Orange,” the dialogue wns written by no less famous a comedian than Eddie Cantor,, t-Eo star of “Whoopee.” There is an excellentsupporting, programme.
