The latest Labor Ministry, returns; show that on November 0 there were nearly 54,000 fewer unemployed on tho rogistor than a month earlierThis reduction is partly due to the discontinuance of registration _by a proportion- of those whose claims to benefit have been disallowed under the hew anomalies regulations. The application. of the means tests under the National Economy Act has not yet shown its effect under the returns eo far available.
