OBITUARY
AIR TIIOAIAS BUSH (Press Associatieut WELLINGTON. Nov. 19. dim death is announced of Air Bush, aged 79 pears, lie was boru in Kent in 1552. and came to New Zealand with his parents at an- early age, living for a number of years at Nelson and Wanganui. In 1889 Mr Bush came to Wellington with his family, and until his retirement ill 1921 he was actively interested in business. He was elected to the Wellington City Council in 1910 and remained in office until 1917. An enthusiastic bowler. Alr_ Bush was past president of the, New Zealand Bowling Association and the Wellington Bowling Club. In the ‘eighties Air Bush was a keen oarsman and won many trophies at W angantii, where lie also played a prominent part in the administrative side of the sport, lie leaves lour sons. The death lias occurred of Dr. L. 0. S. Poidcvin, aged 60. He represented the State in cricket, and Australia- m the. Davis Cup, and wrote extensively on both sports.
