Tho return limit, between Donovan (Wnitnra) 9.2 and P.la v (Victoria') 9.2 in the open air at Western Park on Saturday night was favored by fine weather and a crowd of 4000. It resulted in a draw. The fight was marred by too much wrestling, both boxers offending and sometimes appearing to lose their heads. Donovan was the worst offender, through persistently hanging .on. He was frennentlv cautioned by the referee (Mr Maxwell), otherwise he might have secured the verdict. Donovan was sent down in the eighth round for eight by a left uppercut to, th e solar plexus,'hut. made a great recovery and thereafter was more than holding his own.
