• Bad luck-continued to pursue Air. J. Buckeridge, following the crashing of his ’plane at Wainiro Bav on New Year’s Day. Air: Buckeridge., who escaped with only minor tvas placed in a car owned by Mr. tv* McFariane and driven by Mr. AlcCracken in order to take him to Te Puia Hospital. En route to the hospital-, .the car' collided with another machine on one of the sharp bends of i-he road, both vehicles being damaged and that containing Mr. Ruckeridge narrowly missing being forced down a 20ft- bank into a creek bed.
