Mr. Floyd, a passenger on the liner Bendigo, states that as a result of the Government's failure to prevent the dumping of foreign cotton goods, Japanese interests are buying complete English'mills for re-erection in the Far East. They are • able to purchase looms at about one-third the cost, and with cheap production costs a fresh menace will soon face the western industrial world.
