Some of the. songs included are “Lucky Me, Lovable You,” ‘ ‘Everybody Tan” and “Happy' Lays are Here Ao-ain.” The story concerns the unceasing affection of a. young gift t°f her stage partner, who does not realise that she is the girl for him until be lias pained her many times with his fickleness. The well-known baritone, Titlo R.uU'o, is heard m several excellent songs, and Luci .de Rerejarto plays violin solos. the Charlie Chase singing and talking comedy and the Melrotone News also prove excellent supports. “THE AMERICAN P HJSONEK” TO-MORROW. The all-British talking production “The American Prisoner” will be the j big feature at the Majestic Theatre 1 commencing to-morrow night. The ( matineo idol of the English stage, Carl Rrisson has the leading role. In 'this picture lie is cast as a young American olficer, a prisoner of war, who meets and falls in love with, a beautiful English girl, who helped, him to escape. While sitting in the drawing room he sings to her “Remember.” a beautiful melody, winch is also the theme song of the hlin. Supporting Brisson in the picture are Madeline Carroll, Cecil Barry .and, Bromlev Davenport. The story is enacted on the moors, of Dartmoor...As supports' the. all-talking, dancing eomedv “The Big Fic-k,” featuring Harry Langdon, the Metrotone News, and Yvette Huge!, vocalist, will.be oresented.
