ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Old Bovs' Cricket Club was held on Friday evening, Air. G. N. Lockett presiding over a large and enthusiastic gathering. The annual report and balancesheet were read and • adopted, the chairman commending the club for the past season’s work. Officers elected were": Patron. Mr. F. AY. Nolan; president, Mr. P- J. Roberts; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. E. Maude, P. 11. Harper, A. AIBeale, 'R. E. Uaulton, L. A". Pyke, F. Foote, F- J. Wilkes, C. Lord, C\ E. Jvess, R. V. Pocock; ■ secretary and treasurer, Air. J. C. Dow; non. auditor, Mr. J• M. Kav; committee. Afessrs. Si Edwards, E. H. Dow, R. D, Ivess, G. N. Lockett, G- Pocock and Brew; , gear-coinmittee, Messrs. E. H.. Dow and ft. Edwards. The selection of a captain and vice-capt. was left till the first plaving Saturday.

The quetsion of the appointment of a club coach w as.raised, but the general opiuion was that the expense would he unwarranted and the matte! lapsed though a coach may be engaged later if the players so desire.
