He was.kneeling at tho altar with his bride when,, to the astonishment of all, he suddenly checked tne officiating priest,- rushed from the altar and pounced on a mail in the congregation whom, be arrested on a charge of stealing a purse’ from a woman sitting alongside. The thief was locked up, the woman regained her purse, and Santos returned to liis, waiting bride. He apologised all round and was married without further interruption.- '.-.-/
