(Press Association.) NELSON, March 23. At the Dominion conference of the Grand Lodge of the Independent Oido‘r of Oddfellows several remits were considered. One to raise the commercial basis in the representation in Grand Lodge was defeated. Remits adopted had relation to the admission of junior members between LG and 19 years into adult lodges at reduced rates, with relative benefits, provision for biennial estimates; setting up of various committees m subordinate lodges; .re-arrangement of constitution and index; and in connection with a number of minor matters. Ae report on the question of ccnoral book-keeping and registration of members was .referred to the executive together with Pro. D. R. Cooper P.G.M. and G. F. Rndkm P.G . P.C.P., with power to bring in any necessary revision during a recess. Rro M. Hooper D. DAL secretary for Now Zealand advised members n| the progress made for the torniatron of" a Grand Encampment for New Zealand, a petition for a charter for which is being -sent immediately to tho Grand Lodge of Australasia. -ii Proposals tor increased sick allowances and immediate funeral benefits for Robekah members were adopted. _________
