MAJESTIC THEATRE
“REJUVENATION OF AUNT ■MAtu-’V AND “13 WASHINGTON . SQUARE” V *
Saturday’s double feature programme at the Alajestic headed by •uejuvenatiori of Aon* Alary.” and “13, Washington Square”, will be repeated to-night. For real comedy there is no type'of. picture that gams greater appreciation from an audience than the so-called mystery story. In “13, Washington Square” every incident imperilling a player, every expression of trighfc. every scurrying shadow and eerie light, utterly broke down the spectator’s reserve. A wornaii would shriek here and a mail . guffaw there, then the whole house would tumble down in'mirth. Jean Hersholt gives a very fine and sympathetic per f ormanca as the picture - thief, another palm on the histrionic decoration of this first-ranking character star. Alice Joyce -is splendid in her role as the aristocratic mother, . A part which might have been unsympathetic, in less capable hands. 'The story ,'of a boy who has led liis relatives to believe he was really a motor' racing driver, is the theme of “The Rejuvenation of Aunt Alary” May Robson is seen as the old auntie arid Harrison Ford is Jack,, hpr nephew.
