WITH TRANSPLANTED CORNEA
NEW YORK. Nbv. 10The recent transplanting of the cornea of an eye from one patient to another, whose sight was failing, was declared successful to-day. WTien the bandages were removed the patient was able to discern objects at a of 10 feet. Doctors said that this distance would bo increased in a few weeks._ The patient’s other eye is of. glass. The healthy cornea was taken from the eye of a man suffering from a tumor.
