A commercial traveller, Alexander Spencei, 53 years of age, dropped dead after witnessing a winner at the Canterbury race* yesterday. A thief stole his diamond pin immediately, he fell. A betting ticket for £H on the winner was found in his pockets, together with £3O in notes.
