CARTOON WAS TOO HOT. NEW YORK. Oct, 26. The .editors of- the “Christian Herald,’ ’ a staunch Protestant weekly, have admitted that they suppressed an edition of 100,000 copies, which was already printed, because the front-page cartoon went too far. Under the caption “Uncle Sam, Bartender,” and accompanying an 'article bv Mrs Mabel Willebrandt, the Assistant-Attorney General, who lias charge- of prohibition enforcement, the picture showed a politician standing over . a. ballot-hot ordering a line of people to/vote “Wet.’
