("Received Nov. 9, 11.2 5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 9. What is believed to have been a duel with cavalry swords occurred at Darlinghurst this afternoon, resulting in William Gibbs being treated in hospital for wounds in the hand. Later, the' police arrested _ a man who has been charged with inflicting the injury. . The parties are uncommunicative. They are said to be old soldier comrades who had an argument and sword play followed. One denies a duel, and the other savs it- was a fair fight.
