A fire, which raged for a couple of hours this afternoon at Redfern, destroyed two factories and four residences, the damage exceeding £50,000. The factories were Riley’s furniture manufactory and Dickson’s box . factory. The furniture was removed from about twenty near-by houses, but the fire brigade was able, \ to stem the blaze.
