hours. Besides, he had to keep 2-5 rabbiters on the estate all the year round to cope with the rabbits, and in my opinion he would never clean them up. The station was only a rabbit country. It was no good for sheep oi" cattle, The wool in my time was the • worst class of stqrf that I have handled in ihe whole of my experience rind I hav'e travelled from Invercargill to Blenheim in the South Island aiicl from Wellington to Auckland 'flnd Wellington to GisbOrnO, hhd have classed wool on the leading sheds of New Zealand and J bohfeider I know Something about the backblocks of this country. I think Mr F. J: Lysriar is doing the right thing in breeding rabbits on the estate.
