Having drawn up a policy for conducting the waterfront strike, . .conference of maritime IF. transport unions has' concluded. Waterside unionists are to refuse to take .out licenses under the Transport Act, and the dispute must be confined to its present limits. It has been decided to take no action to end the strike. Flans have been formulated whereby other unions should provide financial assistance to the strikers and their dependents.
