H.B. PRESBYTERY.
TO MEET INI QISBORNE TO-DAY. \ji event of considerable interest to" the Presbyterian communities of! the district’ will take place to-day when the Hawke’s Bay Presbytery will hold its regular bi-monthly meeting at St. Andrew’s Church. The Moderator of the Presbytery is the Rev. It. McCully, of Maraekakaho. The Rev. F. W. Robertson of Waipawa, is. clerk. So far as can be ascertained this will be the first time the Presbytery has held its regular meeting in Gisborne. The forenoon sederuents will be occupied with routine' business. In the evening the Presbytery will break up into four commissions, and pay official visits to the four congregations of Poverty Bay—St. Andrew’s, Mangapapa-Kaiti, Matawhero and Ormond. '. ’ >. Sixteen members of Presbytery travelled; yesterday from Hawke’s Bay in four private cars, and had an enjoyable, trip. They make the return journey on Thursday. ;
