TO EE HARNESSED THIS YEAR
"I have been informed that tne harnessing cf Waikaremoana so as to enable a supply, will be carried out by the end of the year instead of by 1930.” Thus stated the Mlayor (Mr G. A. Maddison) when he reported to the Hastings Borough Council the results of his trip to the conference in Palmrston North relative to the shortage of power.
