DELHI, Jan. 3
Serious rioting has occurred in Raungda in the Promo district m Burma as a sequel to .the seditious movement urging the non-payment of taxes and defiance of the Government. Secret societies arc ioiming. The police, going to arrest- a sedition, ist, were attacked by villagers. Hie former fired, killing many. Women armed with daggers and axes, took part. , Police and troops are. being sent to the affected area.—A. and NLZ.C.A.
