Queensland, in the second innings, made 590 (Higgins 179, O’Connor 32, Rowe 147, Oxen ham 50,, Gough 42). Bowling, McNamee took two for 110, Morgan two for 95, and Bradman two for 41. New South Wales have lost one wicket for lour. Ihc weather was fine and the wicket good, but, late in the afternoon, rain commenced. The, batsmen dug themselves in. playing very carefully in order to avoid an innings defeat. When that danger was removed the cricket brightened and the score mounted at a. fairly fast rate, despite a groat number of changes in the bowling.
