INSANITY PLEA FOR KIDNAPPING CHARGES
MURDER. ADMITTED
(Roeeived Jan. 4, 7.40 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, Jan, 3. Hickman was arraigned before the court here to-day and pleaded “not guilty” by reason of insanity to the kidnapping charges. January 25 is set- down as the date of the .trial on the double indictment. . " The presiding judge .asked Hickman:. “Do you realise in pleading not guiltv by reason of insanity you are admitting .the murder?” Hickman replied: “Yes, your Honor. ”~A. and N.Z.O.A.
