Master Pictures’ latest release, “The ltanger of the Big Pines” which is showing at Everybody's at to-day’s matinee and again to-night is a sirring, drama of the clash between the new West and the old. The romance of the forest ranger and the girl, ”a lovely flower ot a corrupt stock,” has back of it the seething undercurrent of tire struggle for supremacy in the Ilocy Alountain country. To-morrow, Thursday will be presented Hoot Gibson in his latest picture "The Brairie King." Hoot Gibson as Andy Barden is 'one oi three persons to whom a valuable gold mine is loft, under certain conditions. Barbara AA'orth, as Edna Jordan, is the second person mentioned, while the third is a villian who, hearing that he has a claim on the mine, at”once sets to work to try and obtain it Iqr himself. But he finds Andy , Barden, is vtoo good lor him. How the trouble is finally settled between t.he three interested parties ci cates a great deal of excitement. The picture is a vivid colorful drama c,f the west, flaming with the speed and action of vigorous outdoor life, generously tinged with a romantic love theme.
