“THE MONKEY TALKS”
1 _ “The Monkey Talks” the picturisation of the sensational European 'cipal romantic role opposite Miss Bor O’Brien -scored -a distinct’ success at tho Palace Theatre last night when -the initial screening took place. .Fox Films’ screen version of Rene Eaueliois’ sensational mystery play, ‘‘The Monkey Talks” is graced with an assemblage of stellar players of more than the usual talent and popularity. This picture is screening at to-day’s matinee and again to-night. In “The Monkey Talks” Olive Borden is east in the role of Olivette, the central figure in the development of the mystery. Don Alvarado, whose rise try fame in motion pictures has been phenomenal, plays the principal -romantic role oposite Miss Borden. In the role of Pocko, the monkey who talks, is Jacques Lerner,' noted French actor who journeyed from Paris to Hollywood to play ‘the role he originated on the stngej for Fox Films pictorial version. Jane Winton, one of the newest of, screen favorites is cast in a- feature role along with Raymond ’ Hitchcock. Malcolm Waite and August Tollaire
