EVERYBODY'S
KENNETH HARLAN, HELENE COSTELLO. “RANGER, OF ’RIG PINES”
Everybody's Theatre is offering tonight a virile, stirring tale of the West. Kenneth Harlan and Helene Gostello piay the hero and heroine, and both give excellent performances. Hope Loring and Louis Lighaon adapted “Oavanagh, Forest Ranger!’ written hv Hamlin Garland, ifo the screen, "with the splendour of the Rookies for a background, “The Ranger of the Big Pines” will satisfy anyone. Kenneth Harlan gives an eexcellent performance as the handsome ranger who-se pride and conventional training almost overbalances his love for Virginia Weatherford, “the lovely flower of a corrupt stock.” Helene Costello lends.to- the role of Virginia sweetness and beauty. E-ulalie Jensen’s interpretation of Lize Weatherford, hardened woman of tho 'West, is a perfect bit of acting. The rest of an excellent cast includes Will Walling. Lew Harvey, Robert J. Graves, Eugene Paulette, Harvey Clark, and Joan Standing". Tt is a- strong,- stirring and thoroughly entertaining motion picture. The supports include “Account of Monte Cristo” two-reel comedy, Pathe Gazette and “Seeing the Unseen” colored interest.
