BRISBANE. Oct. 20

The Queensland- Advisory Board has recommended to the Roma Oil Corporation that two or more holes should be sunk to a considerable depth with the object oi developing flic Roma area as an oilfield. Representatives of the corporation have approved the recommendation. Testing at the bore continues, 2oU Gallons of white emulsion being discharged, with less than 2 per cent, of excess free oil. The associated waiter was brackish, The Minister of Mines. Mr. Jones, explains that the white emulsion contained oil which separated itself from the emulsion. —U.P.A.
