Considerable interest is uroiised in Chicago, over the trial of Superintendont of Schools William Ate Andrew, on charges laid by the Mayor, All’ Thompson (who is! known for his antiBritish attitude) that McAndrew was responsible for the disseminating of British propaganda in Chicago schools.

Former Judge Frederick Bailsman, of "Seattle, giving evidence, said lie found traces of propaganda in schools throughout tlie land, that many children dd not know the truth about England, which conquered three former world powers, - -Spain. Holland, and France, and that children do not kn.ow that this history repeated itself against Germany. Mr Bailsman declared that the Rhodes Scholarships were established for the purpose of bringing the United States back under tho British Crown. “I have yet to hear a United States ■ citizen say he wants the United States to annex 'Canada.
