OPERATIONS BY POOL. LARGER PAYOUT THAN 1926 OTTAWA. Oct. 18. At Winnipeg, Mr. McPliad, president of the Canadian \N heat Pool, Announced the final payment in excess of £3,860,600 for the 1926 crop of pooled wheat. He said that of the total amount the Saskatchewan pool received approximately £2,600,050, Alberta £BOO.OOO, and Manitoba £IOO,OOO. ' , The total payments iu the th.ee provincial pools represent the net balance alter deducting all the marketing costs incurred by f he central selling agency, namely, storage, interest charges,, and administrative expenses. The final payments, representing the spread between the grades.' vary from 145 cents per bushel for Durum to 971, cents lor No. 6. ' ~ The administrative expenses of the central selling agency for the 1926-2 < crop vear are covered by a reduction of less than one-fifth of a. cent per bushel.
