Last Saturday at ' -tlie GisbormOlieAss Club Sclilichtiug beat Walker in the tournament and finished with 12J wins out of played, or 89 per cent, of wins, being a good second to Dow, who has won 13 out of 14 or 93 per cent. On Tuesday Se'ddon alsd won against Walker, finishing third with 101 games or 76 per cent. There are now only three more encounters to Complete the tournament after which tho sealed handicaps will be opened and the scores adjusted. In the ladder championship contest Seddon heat Stichbury and mounts another rung. AValker lost against Schlichting and .'Somervell failed to dislodge Gleavo, tho game ending in a perpetual check. Kennedy' now challenges Somervell to play next Saturday and Seddon challenges the loser. Schlichting, who lost to Dow last week, challenges him to a series of three games next month to decide who shall be the. chib’s champion.
