TAKING THE COUNT

A NEW RULE

NEW YORK, Oct. 18

The National Boxing Association has adopted a new rule suggested by tiie Tuiincy-Dempsey count mix-up. Hereafter, when a boxer is. floored, the timekeeper rises and begins to toll the seconds and tlie referee conducts the opponent ,to the furthest corner, then returns to tlie fallen boxer taking up the count in unison with the timekeeper. Ten seconds, therefore, becomes the limit.—Sun.
