, DICKENS’ IMMORTAL MASTERPIECE. “THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP.*’ Admirers of Dickens’ writings will be given an opportunity of seeing this famous classic a£ the matinee and evening screenings to-day. The Old Curiosity Shop is one of the few remaining edifices of old London that still. remains. This famous old shop keeps the memory of Charles Dickens before the Londoners, and in this production is viewed on the screen with the famous screen artists, Dickens’ works always have their charm, and the characters of this story are so well-known to all that their value in a screen production cannot he overstressed. The love of little Dorrit is ably portrayed in this wonderful picture . The characters of the story are carried out in faithful reproduction of those who live between the covers of the book. The second feature is a comedy drama “A Sailor Tramp”,-and will be screened in the first part of the programme. Early reservation of scats at Tattersall and Bayly’s is advisable.
