GREEK WOMEN’ DEFY LONG SKIRT LAW. INGENIOUS ELASTIC ATTACHMENT. LONDON, Jan. 23. Athens telegrams report that many women are ingeniously defying the recent decree against short skirts, by wearing the regulation length skirts with elastic attachments, whereby when out of the policeman's sight they can shorten them at will to the knees.—A.N.Z.O.A.
