TENTATIVE. PROGRAMME. - FOR GO NEPAL’S VISIT 'iO GISBORNE. The tentative programme in connection with the visit of the Govern-or-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) and Lady Fergusson to Gisborne, which has been submitted for the approval of their Excellencies, and was tabled at the Borough Council last evening, is as.follows: — -. Friday :' 10.30 a.m.. Ilis Excellency and party to be taken, for a motor drive round district, visiting Native church, Manutuke, where a Maori welcome organised by Lady Carroll will be given by the Natives. . 12 30' to 2.30: His Excellency to be the guest of the Poverty Bay Club for luncheon. 3 o’clock: Their Excellencies to open the Memorial Home and then have afternoon tea at Cook Hospital. Evening : His Excellency and party will be the guests at the Savage Club korcro. Wednesday: 8.30 p.m. His Excellency to be" asked a ReUnion of the South A mean Veterans’ Association. Thursday: 10.30 a.m., Civic Reception at City Hall and address of welcome read. At conclusion motor to Band Rotunda. 11 a.m.: A parade of Veterans, Returned Soldiers, Navy League, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides to assemble at Band Rotunda at 10.45 a.m. His Excellency will be asked to present a medal on behalf of Boj r Scouts’ Association to Ex-Commissioner H. A. King for long service, also to inspect and address parade. 12.30. p.m?: Luncheon at City Hall to Their Excellencies at the invitation of the Citizens’ Y.M.O.A. Committee. Afternoon : Their Excellencies to be the* guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Lysnar, Kelvin Rise, to afternoon tea and garden party. Evening: His Excellency to attend a Masonic' function and Her Excellency to be the guest of the Gisborne Women’s Club.
