MISSING LEGISLATOR ANNOYED PROTEST AGAINST SFRVE3LLAXCE. SYDNEY, Jan. 25. The member of the Legislative Council whose whereabouts have been causing the Government so much concern, has returned to the city. He says lie has been spending a quiet holiday at Nowra. Y\ hen he read in the newspapers that he was being searched for bv the police he immediately communicated with the Commissioner of Police through the local station, informing the Commissioner that ha was in the best of health. He protested strongly against having his movements followed by detectives and police.—U.P.A.
