TO CONQUER EVEREST
FRENCH AVIATOR'S PROPOSED :.v. FLIGHT. SPECIALLY DESIGNED ELF.RIOT ' MACHINE. JjONDUN, Jan. 24. The Daily News says: The French aviator, Collizo, Folder of the world’s altitude record of 3f>,586 feet, accompanied by a cinematographer, intends to make an air attack on Mt. Everest. A JJleriot machine is being spe-aal-ly designed and fitted for flight in thin air. It is equipped with oxygen for use above 25,000 feet. In order to avoid the air currents about Mt. Everest, when Cellizo reaches the required height ho will dive towards the summit and drop a French flag to which will be attached a sealed tube containing an account of the flight.
