FRAUD PERPETRATED ON AUCKLAND FIRM. ‘ SOMETHING OF AN ADVENTURER.” AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. At the Police Court John Henry Irvine, 23, charged with obtaining a typewriter from Alpe Brothers by means of a valueless cheque, with intent to defraud,, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
