MHI A MAR TOURNAMENT
WELLINGTON, Jan. 3. The final day of the Miramar golf tournament was characterised by some splendid play in most dimcult conditions. Heavy rain overnight made the turf in great order, but the morning was boisterous, a heavy southerly thoroughly testing the compleitors. The final of the championship, which was won by a. H. Horton provided a keen contest.. Drake, the'other fihalist making splendid recovery after standing 5 down at the 7th hole to finish with lus opponent 4 up and 2. —P.A.
