MEETINGS
From now on the majority of races for cyclists and runners will he practically confined to competition for the various cups which the G.A.A. and H.C. possess. The following programme has been adopted for the evening meetings to ho held during January. Thursday, Jan. 71. —100 yards handicap (first distance Martin-Aislabie Cup) ; 880 yards cycle handicap (first distance Rudgo Cup); 75 yards ladies handicap. Friday Jan. 15.—880 yards handicap (first distance Johnson Cup); two mile cycle handicap (first distance Algie Clip); long jump handicap. Thursday, Jan. 21.—220 yards handicap (second distance Martin-Aisla-bie Cup); one mile cycle handicap^2nd distance Algie Cup); 100 yards ladies’ handicap; high jump handicap. In all ladies’ events points will count for the Pollock Cup.
