BIG RADIO ATTEMPT

The radio world will launch a new year on Friday night with the most elaborate attempt yet made to bring all the earth in speaking distance. FVom New York a programme will he sent back from London and to make it a world-wide event news will be despatched as received-by radio and telegraph from the Orient, South and Central America. This will be relayed across the Atlantic from here. London stations will relay the programme to the Continent and the nine most powerful radio stations of the United States will be linked for an attempt. The chimes of Dig Bon in London will be heard in the L.S.A.. and in reply they, in turn, will be answered by a carillon of a New York church.
