1 MOTOR-CYCLE “DOUBLE BAXK- ; ELIS'’ COLLIDE WITH TRAM. : (PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ■ DUXEDIX, Sept. 7. ' In a collision between *a motor-cycle and. a tramcar on Saturday night. John Birke (26) and Hugh Graham (27) were rendered unconscious and sent to the hospital. They were double banking, and failed to negotiate a curve into Princes Street, striking a. car head on. A man’ was found in an unconscious condition on Lamhton Quay, and removed to the hospital, where lie now lies unidentified. His condition is serious. He is medium height, stout, with a full round face, dressed in a grey tweed suit, and wearing a. blue trench overcoat. He wears a medal instvihed “presented to Private O. Tragic circumstances surrounded the death of Raymond Cuthbcrt Hollingshead, aged 23 months, this afternoon. The child was playing in thebackyard of his home when lie was run over by a motor lorry driven by his father.' The engine of the lorry had not been running well and Mr. Hollingsheadj while examining it, baeked the car out of the shed in which it stood.
