A very fashionable and pretty weddi;n/ was solemnised at Palmerston North on Thursday .afternoon at A 1 Saints Church, when Miss Muriel Cecile Keillor was married to A* l - James Guthrie Williams, eldest son ot Dr. and Airs. J. AY. Williams, of.Gisb°The church had been beautifully decorated-with yellow spring riowers and arum lilies by the girl friend.-, or the bride, and Canon Fancourt performed the ceremony , The service was choral the hymn "The Voice that Breathed O’er Edere” sung us th& bride- entered the church, and "0 Perfect Love” at the conclusion of the service. The bride who was given away by her brother, Air. Brain Keiller, wore an exquisite tunic frock or brocaded flame silk. A train of the same material hung from her shoulders and was carried by Shona Williams (Gisborne) (sister of the bridegroom) and Master lan Potts. Her veil v. hich was worn over her face was caught to her head with orange blossoms and fell in soft folds over her train. She carried a bouquet of freezias and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by lour bridesmaids, Aliss Nancy Loughnan, Aliss Peggy Abraharn, Miss Nancy Williams (sister of the bridegroom), and Aliss Dorothy Levin (F eliding). They were dressed alike in frocks of primrose georgette over satin of a deeper shade. The dresses were made with long tunics, the skirts being gathered on to the tunics and edged with lace. A touch of colour was added to the frocks by a posy of yellow and golden brown flowers on the left shoulder. They wore veils of tulle to match their frocks with bands of flowers in shades of yellow and golden brown round their heads with a posy of flowers at eac-h side, and they carried bouquets or freezias and yellow primroses. The bridegroom was attended by Air. Pat Nolan (Gisborne), as bestman, and Messrs. Gray (Gisborne), Paul Williams (Gisborne), and Anthony Birch as groomsmen. Alter the ceremony Airs. Geoffrey Potts held a reception at Fitzherbert. Airs Potts received her guests wearing a frock of fawn georgette and lac-e with which was worn a georgette hat to match with drooping ostrich feather. Airs. J. AY. AViiiiams (mother of the bridegroom) wore a navy and fawn coat frock with black hat relieved with gold and black ospreys. Amongst the many guests present were—Mr. and. Airs.
