“UN JUSTI FT A RLE PROFITS” TO BE HEAVILY TAXED LONDON, Sept. 4. - The Morning Post’s Paris correspondent states that M. Cailduat in a statement on the subject of the Budget for 1923 says it is proposed to tax heavily “unjustifiable profits” He expresses confidence in the German pledge to pay to France from 1930 an annual sum of 1500,000,000 gold marks, which will enable France to meet all international obligations. Current liabilities will he -met by the receipts. In demanding the sacrifices, M. Caillaux declares he is_ aiming at the re-establishment of France and hopes to work gradually to the reduction, of the public debt. •
