PLIGHT OF SIX MEN IN OVEN
NEW YORK, .June 9
Six men working at an enamel oven or an automobile plant at Chicago became trapped. Their only chance of escape was the choice of dashing through a wall of flame or waning through aval of boiling paint. Four chose the former and died. The others waded through the vat and escaped, though badly burnt.—Sun.
