(Received June 10, 7.25 p.m.) LONDON, June 10
The Morning Post’s Athens correspondent saj's that in consequence of an advance of one million sterling from the Bank of England the work of settling refugees from Asia Minor is expedited. The original 120,000 agricultural refugee iamilies has Increased , since the beginning of the year by 20,000. Out of a total of 73,000 settled in Macedonia 7500 are from Old Greece. Another 20,000 are expected before tho end of the year. The necessity of a. continuance of charitable aid through tho ‘‘Save die Children” and other funds is strongly emphasised.—A. and N.Z.O.A.
