RIOTS IN JAMAICA
POLICE KILL TWO. AND WOUND SEVERAL.
KINGSTON (Jamaica), June S. A strike on the part of the municipal laborers for an increase of pay developed into a riot, wherein corporation property .was destroyed. The mob attacked the police and. reinforcements arrived and finally the police were compelled to fire on the rioters, killing two and wounding several. The military were called out and the rioters dispersed.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
