A surfaceman met him on Friday walking along the line half a mile from the spot. He said he was going through the tunnel. Broken fern at two spots not far from where tne body was found, with cigarette papers a hook and a tweed cap indicated that he had been resting and apparently fell from one spot down a fourteen foot bank to the railway .line, there being three deep wounds impossible to have been self-inflicted on the back of the neck.
