VETERANS ENTERTAINED AT LUNCHEON,'
AUCKLAND, June 3
King’s Birthday celebration was marked by fine weather. A- parade of five thousand territorials and cadets was inspected at the Domain by Lord Jellicoe. A lulicheon was tendered at the Town Hall to the King’s Empire Y eterans by the Mayor and Mayoress, the Patriotic Association, and the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The Mayor presided and Lord and Lady Jellicoe were present.—P.A.
